How to manually calibrate the GoPano micro (app version prior to 1.5)

Last Updated: Feb 03, 2012 03:55PM EST
For the best possibly video quality, the GoPano app automatically calibrates the lens every time you attach and open the "Record Video" function. This occurs when you first open the "Record Video" function in the app and the calibration is complete when the app displays "GoPano micro Found". If you would like to perform a manual calibration:
  1. Open the GoPano app and tap “Record Video”. Once the screen has loaded, tap the “Calibrate” button in the lower right corner of the screen.
  2. When the screen loads, you will see video coming from the camera in a circular form (donut shaped) along with a black mask over most of the screen.
  3. Drag the circular video around the screen until it fits into the masked shape well. Tap the "Focus" button half way between the outer circle and the inner black circle.
  4. When the refocus is complete, tap the “Done” button in the lower right corner.
